About me

I completed my training as an integrative therapist with The Heartwood Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2020 and have been working with individual clients ever since.

Between 2007 - 2020 I spent 12 years in training as a Buddhist nun living in monastic communities in both the UK and U.S. In my therapeutic work I draw from the learning developed through these years of reflective practice to benefit clients who are ready to find a path out of their pain and grow towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

At the heart of my work is a person-centred approach grounded in the core conditions of Empathy, Authenticity, and Unconditional Acceptance. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to explore the challenges that are impacting your life and relationships.

My approach enables me to focus how I work to meet the unique needs of each client. I will help you find healthier ways to manage your thoughts and emotions and to feel better about yourself. We will work collaboratively towards letting go of negativity and developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

My practice is trauma-informed so the therapeutic space provided is safe and supportive.

As a non-binary and queer identifying person LGBTQIA+ inclusivity is an area of both personal and professional importance for me and I have extensive experience in working with clients from this community.

I am deeply committed to cultural sensitivity and seek to keep developing my awareness around experiences of marginalisation and anti-discrimination practices.
